Weekend in Plodviv

Day 1: Transfer from Sofia International Airport to Plovdiv. Night in Plovdiv. 

Day 2: Guided tour of Plovdiv, one of the most ancient cities in Europe and European capital of culture in 2019. Walk along the Roman stadium, the Roman open-air theatre, the Enthographic museum, the church St Constantin and Helena, the house of Lamartine, the mosquee. Learn about the history of the city and spend some time in the artistique streets of Kapana. Optional visit (with supplement) of Bishop's Basilica of Philippopolis with rich mosaic heritage.

Day 3: Free time in Plovdiv. In the afternoon, drive back to Sofia. Guided tour of Sofia city center. Night in Sofia.

 

Day 4: Return transfer to Sofia International Airport
